Fire Mountain Programs offers a one-on-one mentoring and companion service designed by Aaron Huey to support individuals and families as they navigate life after treatment. Aaron’s unique mentorship approach is dedicated to guiding teens and young adults through the challenges that often accompany independent living, helping them transition successfully from structured care environments into the freedom of daily life.

 

This service provides a steady foundation of guidance, accountability, and connection. Aaron’s focus is on fostering personal and family growth through tailored support, skill-building, and dedicated companionship, helping clients build a strong foundation for a thriving life after treatment.

 

Details of Service

 

The program is offered at a monthly rate of $2,500. Each month includes four (4) hours of individualized, one-on-one mentorship with Aaron, featuring sessions that prioritize real-life applications, hands-on support, and relationship-building. Aaron also coordinates with the Fire Mountain Programs team to receive feedback, ensure continuity of care, and align with the client’s ongoing clinical support team. The first meeting will focus on setting short-term goals, exploring new life routines, and addressing long-term ambitions, such as education or career pathways.

 

This Mentorship Service Includes (but is not limited to):

 

Mentoring Sessions 

• Unlimited Texting (response will be within 18 hours max)

• Employment Support: Verification of current employment or support in securing a position.

• Housing Assessment: Guidance on establishing a stable and supportive living environment.

• Relationship Building: Navigating family and personal relationships in a balanced and healthy way.

• Budgeting & Financial Skills: Assisting with personal finances and budgeting skills.

• Goal Setting: Regular progress check-ins and support for personal and recovery-oriented goals.

• Therapeutic Support: Verification and encouragement for therapy engagement.

• Psychiatric Coordination: Ensuring effective medication management and psychiatric care.

• Recovery Support: Check-ins on recovery milestones, including meeting attendance, sponsorship, and step work.

• Educational Planning: Assistance with educational pursuits, including college applications and course enrollment.

• Substance Screening: Weekly drug and alcohol testing.

 

Outings and Activities Based on Client Needs

• Recovery Exercise assistance and guidance- Use of Aaron's gym and training room. (For Local Clients)

• Axe/Spear throwing and Archery- Mentoring sessions held during activity! (For Local Clients)

• Monitoring Recovery Meetings: Attendance at relevant support or recovery meetings.

• Monitoring Sober Activities: Engaging in positive social or recreational outings.

• Teaching Life Skills and  Outings: Grocery shopping, DMV visits, doctor appointments, and practical errands.

• Job Development: Resume assistance, job application support, and mock interviews for career exploration.

• Healthy Lifestyle Exploration: Finding and engaging in sober, enjoyable activities.

 

Additional Family & Clinical Support

 

• Bi-Weekly Family Updates: A 30-minute check-in call every two weeks with the family for updates and communication support.

• Weekly Clinical Team Coordination: Collaboration with the client’s clinical team, including therapists and psychiatrists, to track progress and maintain medication management.

• Crisis Support: Immediate resources and guidance for relapse or mental health emergencies.

 

Additional hours outside the monthly package are available on a situational basis with prior approval.
